One of the youngest builders in Echuca-Moama, Steven Bird offers fresh new ideas to those wanting to build a home.

Steven, who started Bluebird Constructions 3 years ago, has 14 years’ experience in the industry, starting his apprenticeship in Echuca.

He recently obtained his Victorian and NSW builders’ licence and is a member of the Masters Builders’ Association of Australia and Housing Industry Association and of the local builders group.

Steven specialises in environmentally-friendly homes and architectural concrete structures.

He prides himself on building homes which exceed the five-star energy rating that suit the local climate.

In an effort to save more energy, people can opt for environmentally-friendly solar products, insulation and plantation timber. Steven has recently been accredited as a MBA Green Living Builder.

Clients can be involved in the design aspect and are always welcome on site.

``If they want to make any changes, that is no problem. Alterations to contracts and plans can easily be changed,’’ Steven said.

As a local builder he uses almost all local materials and sub trades.  Steven offers ``hands-on’’, personalised service and is involved in the entire building process.

Steven is looking forward to working with clients in Echuca-Moama and providing them with their ideal home.
